Get Ready for a great time in Calgary, home of the world famous Stampede!

Dear Masters, Instructors, Students and Parents,

All members of the Canadian Taekwon-Do Federation International – Coloured Belts and Black Belts – are invited to participate in the 2011 CTFI Canadian National Championships in exciting Calgary, Alberta. 

Event Date: Saturday November 12, 2011.  

This event is open to ages 4 and older and all belt levels  from White Belt to 6th Degree Black Belt. 

The Championships will be held at the Talisman Centre.  The largest multi-sport complex of its kind in Canada, this sports facility was originally built as part of the Athletes’ Village for the 1988 Winter Olympics.  The building recently underwent a multimillion dollar renovation to make it completely modern.  See the “Venue” page for more information on this amazing facility. 

It is our goal to provide an amazing and memorable experience for all participants and their supporters.  This will be a well organized event with an excellent level of competition and sportsmanship, demonstrating the true spirit of the original ITF Taekwon-Do. 

For the 2011 Calgary CTFI National Championships, we are also pleased to provide the following innovations to the tournament program: 

• All competitors, upon registration at the event, will be provided with an estimated time schedule for their events.
• All participants will register and make payment directly on-line via the Internet.
• The ITF electronic scoring system will be showcased in the centre ring.

Venez vous amuser à Calgary – accueil du Stampede de renommée mondiale

Chers Maîtres Instructeurs/Instructrices, élèves et parents, 

Tous les membres de la Fédération Canadienne de Taekwon-do International – ceintures de couleurs et noires – sont invités à participer aux championnats canadiens 2011 de la FCTI dans la belle ville de Calgary, Alberta.   (Pour nos amis français, s’il vous plaît pardonnez nos traductions terrible!) 

Cet événement est ouvert à tous âge de 4 ans et plus et tous les niveaux de ceinture de ceinture blanche à ceinture noire 6ème degré. 

La compétition aura lieu à le Centre Talisman.  Le lieu a été construit dans le cadre du Village des athlètes pour les Jeux olympiques d’hiver de 1988.  Le bâtiment a récemment subi une rénovation de plusieurs millions pour le rendre complètement moderne.  Consultez la page « Venue » pour plus d’information au sujet de ce magnifique endroit ! 

Dates de la compétition : le samedi, 12 novembre, 2011. 

Notre objectif est de fournir une formidable et inoubliable expérience pour les participants et leurs supporteurs. L’événement sera bien organisé avec un excellent niveau de compétition et d’esprit sportif, dans la vraie tradition du Taekwon-do ITF. 

À l’occasion des championnats nationaux de Calgary, le comité organisateur a le plaisir de fournir les innovations suivantes pour le programme du tournoi : 

• Tous les compétiteurs recevront un horaire approximatif de leurs compétitions;
• Tous les participants doivent s’inscrire et payer les frais en ligne;
• Le système de pointage électronique ITF sera utilisé sur le plateau central.
